We need to be

eye level.
Eyes of a puppy or a cat might directly be linked to cuteness, but reptile eyes are jaw-dropping too and even insect eyes, for instance compound eyes of flies, are purely stunning.
Eyes are the literal metaphor that diversity of nature is endless - as the perspectives to see are.
Getting a tattoo of an animal eye can be a way to stand up for animals rights.
